             Catie Hauff:
Artistic Director & Head Choreographer
Head Dance Instructor

  Catie Hauff has been studying the art of dance for 26+ years.  While she loves all forms of dance, her main focus has always been Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. She has been the Director, Head Instructor, and Lead Choreographer at Art in Motion Richmond Dance Academy since it opened its doors eight years ago in 2008. Miss Catie has had the pleasure of helping Art in Motion grow from just 35 students to over 230 students. It is no doubt that her love for her students and passion to never stop learning has been an integral element in Art in Motion Richmond Dance Academy’s growth as a dance studio. It is her strong belief that in order to be a great teacher, one must be a great student. Because of this, Catie is always striving to grow as a dancer, instructor, and performer.    Catie has completed the Al Gilbert’s graded tap series as well as trained with professionals like Ray Hesselink, Luigi, David Howard, Judy Rice, Ali Woerner, and Suzi Taylor.  Miss Catie has been a dance instructor for over 16 years and has had a passion for teaching her entire life.  She has taught large classes, small classes, solos and duets along with many private lessons.  Miss Catie acknowledges the importance and necessity of ballet for any dancer and conducts all of her classes with a major focus on technique, terminology, and quality of movement. She possesses the gift to teach all ages and all skill levels.  She is a true “Gifted Dancer and Choreographer”.  Anyone who has worked with Miss Catie has had a wonderful experience.  Miss Catie is a huge advocate of the arts and has had the opportunity to work with the following theater companies; Grosse Pointe Theater, Beneath the Trap Door Theater Company, Richmond Community Theater, I AM Theater Company, and Chesterfield Theater Company.

Christine Campbell-Cormier:  Lead Dance Instructor    proficient in:  Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, HipHop, Pointe, Poms, and Hawaiian

    Miss Christine started dance when she was 3 years old, she is a natural dancer.  Dance is her life and passion, she has studied in New York City and is always excited to expand her dancing ability.  She is in her 17th year of dance and loves all styles.  Miss Christine is in her 8th year of teaching and is loved by her students. Christine is a blessing to Art in Motion and has taught Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Pointe, Theatrical, Voice and MORE!  Christine does her own choreography  at Art in Motion and has also shared her talents being the choreographer at the Birmingham Village Players, Richmond Community Theater, The Aud, Warren Consolidated Schools, Flames Gymnastics, and for the City of St Clair.

Brooke Williams:  Lead Dance Instructor                                 proficient in:  Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, HipHop, Poms, Modern, and Ballet Bootcamp Fitness Classes

    Miss Brooke has danced all of her life!  She had taken Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Pointe, Modern, Hawaiian, Hiphop and Theatrical Production.  She loves all dance and has a natural flair for musical expression.   Brooke has danced the parts of Arabian soloist, Spanish Soloist, Clara, Chinese Soloist and King Mouse in our yearly productions of The Nutcracker along with countless other dance features in our yearly recitals.  Art in Motion has been blessed to have Miss Brooke as a Dance Instructor for the last 6 years. She has a kind, encouraging, and works very well with the students. Her energentic presence and creative choreography are just a few of the reasons that make Brooke a fantastic teacher. She graduated from Paul Mitchell Great Lakes Academy of Hair Design in May 2011.  Brooke is also our Ballet Bootcamp Fitness Class instructor! Drop in and try out her awesome class, you are sure to leave her class feeling confident and excited for the next one! 


Elizabeth Tomaszycki:  Lead Dance Instructor                      proficient in:  Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, HipHop, Pointe, Poms/Acro

    Miss Liz is a dancer from the inside out!  Liz has been dancing for over 20 years and has been a dance instructor at Art in Motion since day one 10 years ago.  She is passionate about her students and is very technical while being creative in her style of choreography, a wonderful combination.  Miss Liz teaches Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, HipHop, Pointe, and Poms/Acro

Miss Cathy is truly the heart and soul of Art in Motion Richmond Dance Academy. Her brightness and light are infectious and she is loved by her students. Cathy takes the time to make every single dancer feel special and she always gives them a moment to "shine". She is behind every wonderful thing that happens at AIM and we couldn't be more blessed to have her!

Tim Campbell-Cormier:  Stage Manager, Partnering Instructor, proficient in:  Tap, Jazz

  Tim started taking Tap in 1989, Jazz in 1991 and learned enough Ballet along the way to be a sought after Ballet Partner throughout the Macomb and St. Clair areas.  He has performed for years in the “Nutcracker Suite Ballet”.  Tim has completed the Al Gilbert’s graded tap series.  Tim has performed a tap number by Ray Hesselink which was choreography specifically for him.  Tim has done choreography for production pieces as well as partnering for ballet and jazz duets. We are so thankful for Tim's wisdom and hard work when it comes to running the Art in Motion shows. He is always backstage as our acting Stage Manager for every single AIM performance. Without him the show just couldn't go on!
